As a creative, you always want to try to leave your client feeling as if they have underpaid for your service.
How do you do that? One ingredient. Provide Value.
Value is perceived cost. Put yourself in your client’s mind. So whatever your quote says, be ready to give more than that. Enough for them to notice. You want them to admit to themselves that they underpaid for you. When you do that, you’ve won the battle in raising your prices.
Above and beyond that, you’ll win relationships and approval. The relationship should be above any invoice. That's a value we operate by.
